|
|
Why
we like this bike
|
A light, flat-handlebar road bike
that still comes with Vermont gearing.
|
|
Who
is this bike for?
|
The rider who appreciates a simple,
good-looking bike, doesn't need to step up to a lighter-weight,
better quality ride like the 1.3, but will pay reasonable
money for wheels that hold up. We have a customer who
commutes over 4,000 year-round miles on this kind of
Fuji and has over 25,000 miles on it. With regularly
replaced parts, of course.

Why
we like this bike
|
Skinny
tires and Vermont gearing. It's the Absolute 1.4 frame
and fork with lighter wheels and cranks. |
|
Who
is this bike for?
|
We
once had a customer who had purchased 3 bikes for himself
and his wife, all light, fast, skinny-tired road bikes
for 20-50 mile pavement rides. He had swapped out the
drop bars on all three machines and put on upright bars.
This is that bike set up that way from the factory.
People
who do charity fundraiser rides like this concept because
they aren't initially cyclists but have committed to
do something large (like ride 150 miles in two days).
You want a bike where you never bend over the bars,
but one that will really make the miles slide away faster?
Here's your bike.
