Trade-in
policy
Brattleboro
Bicycle Shop takes trade-ins against new bike sales.
We do not buy bikes for cash.
- We
look at your bike and determine what we think we can sell it for.
- We
make a list of things that need to be done in order for us to
sell it and feel good about it.
- Subtract
the cost of #2 from #1, and what's left is what we will allow
towards the price of your new bike, up to a limit of 60% of the
new bike's price.
Example:
you
want to buy a bike for $1000. We can sell your old bike for $300,
once we replace the tires ($30), grips ($10), and saddle ($25),
and give it a tuneup ($40).

Trade in Value $155.,
which
is less than $600 (60% of $1000.), so $155. is your trade-in allowance.
