| A
word about GT frames |
We've
liked GT MTB frame design and construction since they made the
move from BMX in 1989. We've ridden GT full suspension bikes
since Juli Furtado won the World Downhill Championship on an
RTS (that's 1991). Despite the current fashion for longer-travel,
"all-mountain" bikes, we recommend this type of four-inch
travel "cross country" bike for most Vermont riding.
If only they were all like this. |

6061 Aluminum frame, Rock Shox J4 fork with travel adjust(80-125mm),

Avid ball-bearing cable disc brakes front & rear. Light,
Crank Bros. Candy C click-in pedals. |
| Why
we like this bike |
Suffer
less! This is a bike that enables you to do things you couldn't
do otherwise, lets everyday folks ride rocky Vermont with less
pain, and is as much fun to ride up hill as down. |
| Who
is this bike for? |
Everyone.
Everyone who has to go up and down rocky hills in Vermont,
at any rate.
The
only riders who should avoid this are:
- people who want the lightest bike above all
- people who are willing to lay out a couple of grand for
nicer parts
