7000 series Aluminum frame, RST Capa spring fork.
Shimano Altus gears, actual Shimano crank and rear
cogs instead of Taiwanese stuff. 32 spoke aluminum
quick release wheels.

we like this bike

It's cheap, it works, and we can service it. It has
very nice looks for a very inexpensive bike.

The Tarpon is really for kids, students, people who
need to roll but aren't going to thrash a bike in the
woods.
