This "Platinum Series" frame (no Platinum in it!) is a special alloy developed by a different Gary, Gary Klein, over about a decade of working with aluminum suppliers. It really is stronger and lighter, and stays that way after the fabrication is done.

This is simply the best Fisher hardtail, doing all those things that made Fisher famous.

A real trail bike. Top of the line frame, better bearings, smoother shifting, lighter everything. True, there are no top-of the line parts on this bike, but remember everything that gets upgraded also wears out and costs that much more to replace. A solid performer at a real price.

A good trail rider who loves to ride hard and wants to get better at it without ever feeling the bike is holding him/her back.
